BATHS

We offer mineral baths, pine baths, aroma baths, ozone pearl baths, baths with bischofite (for the musculoskeletal system), with pantohematogen (for rejuvenation of the body). The basis of the mineral baths effect on the body is the nervous-reflector mechanism. Mechanical, thermal, chemical and other irritations, evoked by the mineral water, are perceived by the nerve receptors. There is the large number of these all over the skin as well as in mucous membranes. Thus, when prescribing a patient medical baths, it is necessary to take into account the complexity of the whole external environment of bath taking, referring to the doctor` words and support staff`s, which, in one or another way, is involved into the organization of the patient`s bath.

Whirlpool massage

The underwater whirlpool massage procedure is carried out with the help of a special hose in the bathtub filled with water. There are different types of massage. The essence and effectiveness of the underwater massage consists in the fact that it includes several useful components: therapeutic bath, contrast of temperatures, physical impact of the stream and oxygen saturation (similar to pearl baths).

Charcot`s douche

Jet douche was named after the famous French doctor physiologist Jean-Martin Charcot. Charcot`s douche effect is reached by the intense pressure of a water jet from the distance 3-5 meters. The procedure starts with douching the patient`s back, and then his front, with a fan stream of water. Then, using a special tip a compact stream is formed and the massage begins, which also starts from the rear part, the stream being moved in a specified sequence - first on one leg from down up to the waist, then another leg. The movement is repeated 2-5 times. Then the stream is shifted to the patient`s back, while the intensity of pressure is usually lowered and the stream is raised up, the movements are continued on the outstretched hands. Then the patient stands sidewards, and the jet is moved again from down to up, starting with the feet and ending with the armpits. The patient then turns with his face, and the jet movement again starts from down to up: first the legs, then the belly. The belly is being massaged with the jet circular movements along the colon, clockwise. The procedure is finished with fan stream. It is necessary to prevent getting of a water jet on the head, breasts and genitals. In the course of treatment, the temperature is gradually lowered (from 35-32°C to 20-15°C) and the pressure is increased. Duration of this procedure ranges from 2 to 5 minutes.

Charcot`s douche is particularly effective in the treatment of cellulite, weight loss programs and correction of body weight.

A special installation is required for the circular douche, which consists of horizontal circular pipes of a relatively small diameter, which are locked at the top and bottom into an incomplete ring. The inner surface of the pipes contains multiple openings through which the water under pressure in the form of a multitude of horizontal jets is being directed at the human body. At this, many fine jets as if puncture the skin, thus stimulating peripheral receptors. This douche has a distinct stimulating and adrenalizing effect and therefore is recommended not for everyone. In particular, people suffering asthenia poorly tolerate such procedures. Circular douche begins with water temperature 34-36°C which is gradually lowered, in the end bring finishing the treatment with the temperature 25°C. This douche is often done after a bath for further stimulation and toning the body. Duration of procedure is 2-5 minutes.

Rising douche

Rising douche is a bath procedure in which a stream of water of certain pressure and temperature is delivered on the body. Effect of the douche is caused by the temperature and especially by the pressure of the water jet.

Undressed patient sits on a special chair with a cutout in the seat, under which a grid tip is placed, through which the water stream goes upward direction to the body.

². Cold douches are 2-3 min. short; Water temperature makes 32-34C, water pressure 1-1.5 atm.

2. Warm and hot douches last 3-5 minutes; Water pressure is 0.5-1 atm, Water temperature is 34-38 C.

Indications: Hemorrhoids, paraproctitis, prostatitis, impotence.
